This week, Disney added multiple former Netflix Original Marvel series, including “Daredevil”, “Jessica Jones”, and “The Punisher” onto Disney+ in many countries, including the US, Canada, Australia and the UK.

The addition of these mature-rated shows to Disney+ in the US has generally gone down well with Marvel fans. However, there have been some complaints that the former Netflix series isn’t available in Ultra High Definition/4K. Which they had previously been available on Netflix.

Following lots of questions from eager Marvel fans to enjoy the series in their full glory, the Disney+ help team have been informing fans that a higher quality version of the shows will be coming soon.

In an effort to make this highly-anticipated content available to Disney+ subscribers ASAP, we opted to launch in HD/SDR to start, but UHD versions will be available soon. Stay tuned!

While it’s disappointing that Disney couldn’t get the higher quality versions of the popular Marvel shows like “Luke Cage” and “Iron Fist” for launch, at least we now know they will be coming later. However, we don’t yet know when that might be.

Will you be waiting for the UHD versions of the former Netflix Marvel Originals, or have you already started binging them?
