She-Hulk/Hulk Series Rumored To Be Coming To Disney+
Last week, it was rumored that a new Marvel series based on Hawkeye, would be coming to Disney+ and now we have a new rumor from “We Got It Covered”, a series based on Hulk and She-Hulk is currently being developed.
The series is due to continue the trend of these new Marvel Studios being much more interconnected with the larger Marvel Cinematic Universe and will see Mark Ruffalo return to the screen to play the Incredible Hulk, in this team up style series.
She-Hulk has been around in the comic books since the early 1980’s and her alter-ego is a lawyer called Jennifer Walters.
Again, this has to be taken with a grain of salt, since we’ve heard lots of different rumors over the past few months, but this could be a way of Disney getting around an existing contract with Universal, which prevents Disney releasing a solo movie featuring the Hulk or other characters from that comic book. Which Universal have the rights to distributing solo movies for, which is why we’ve seen the Hulk in the Avengers movies and Thor Ragnarok, since Disney can use the character in other projects.
She-Hulk has appeared on screens in multiple series over the years including the original Hulk series in the 80’s, in addition to Marvel animated shows, Ultimate Spider-Man, Hulk & the Agents of S.M.A.S.H, The Super Hero Squad Show and many more.
So bringing a series to Disney+ could be a way of getting around the legal issues with Universal, while giving us some interesting stories with the Hulk and She-Hulk.
What do you think of this She-Hulk/Hulk series rumor?
I am thrilled to hear this. Hulk has been my favorite character. His ordeal outside of the media has gripped me for some recent time due to his underwhelming theatrical outings (2003 and 2008). It is understandable how his circumstances differ from some Marvel properties (e.g. Blade) while being somewhat similar to others (e.g. Ghost Rider and The Punisher). Finally, Disney+ can finally do The Hulk justice after 15+ years. I can't wait.
if this happends for real. disney+ it is for me lol
