Harper and Daisy finally switch places and return to their own timeframes in the latest episode of “Secrets of Sulphur Springs.” Daisy goes home and guides her father and brother as they move out of the Tremont. Harper returns home with the deed and presents it to her mother and Griffin’s parents leading to them joining forces to reopen the hotel. And Savannah has returned to the 1960s were she finds Sam injured, but he has returned to the time machine and gone to the future. But, in the present, even though the kids saw a vapor leave the hotel, it appears there is still a ghost on the grounds.

This is a nice penultimate episode of the season. It does a really good job of tying up a lot of loose ends to get everybody where they need to be for the final episode. All of the kids are back at the point in time they are supposed to be at. The only person not in his proper time is the adult version of Sam who has gone to the future. It’s not entirely clear what is going to happen, but it is clear there are more secrets to be uncovered.

I’m very interested to see where the final episode is going. Was that vapor that seemed to leave the hotel Daisy’s mother? Or is she still trapped in the Tremont and something else left? We saw the key to 205 floating and something invisible open the door. Is that Sam from the past now in the present? Or is something else at work? And we see an older lady who scared the younger kids earlier in the season make her return to the Tremont. Is that Savannah who would be 60 years older now? Does she have another warning for Griffin and Harper? There’s so much to uncover in just one episode.

This is one of the best original series Disney has produced in a while on any of its platforms. The awkward moment at the end where Griffin and Harper clearly like each other and want to kiss each other but don’t felt organic because they are either pre-teens or very young teenagers. Compare that to a show like “Turner and Hooch” where it felt like a plot contrivance that lasted the whole season. It’s the same action, but one adds to the story and the other detracts from it. I’m excited for the season two finale. And I’m excited to see what season 3 might bring.
