Harper and Savannah are trying to find the original deed Harper’s ancestor signed in the 1930s before the family loses the farmhouse in the latest episode of “Secrets of Sulphur Springs.” Meanwhile, the hotel in the present is still causing major issues for the Campbell family as it continues to fight back against Griffin’s grandfather. But, Griffin and Daisy find the crystal and put it back in the time machine allowing for Daisy to meet up with Harper and Savannah as Harper hatches a plan to keep the deed safe.

I am really curious to see why the house is so opposed to Bennett Campbell Sr. He was heavily involved with the Tremont when it was a summer camp back in the 1990s. But, everything stopped after Savannah found the time machine and accidentally went back in time to the 1960s. But now, the ghost of the Tremont seems to have it out for Bennett Sr. and I’m not sure why. I wonder if the Campbells are related to the judge from the 1930s who swooped in and threatened to evict the Tremont family. It would make sense why someone or something in the hotel doesn’t want the Campbells, at least Bennett Sr., around.

There’s also a cliffhanger in the 1960s where Sam was looking for Savannah and fell down the basement stairs. Obviously, in the current timeline, Sam lived on the farm until his family was evicted. Then, he served as the maintenance man for the hotel in the 1960s when Savannah went back in time. But, we never saw him in the 1990s timeline. It would be interesting to learn what happened to him going forward. There are still two more episodes to this season, so I can’t wait to see where this storyline goes from here.

This series has done a great job keeping me engaged. This week, we learned that it has been renewed for a third season. When it got a second season renewal, I was surprised but concerned because I wasn’t sure if it could duplicate the success of the first season. I was wrong. It’s been a fun ride here in season two. I’m not surprised about the third season renewal. I am a little hesitant about the show’s quality continuing through a third season, but since they’ve been able to do it twice, it’s more likely they can do it a third time. I can’t wait to see what happens next.
