During a special Disney Entertainment Showcase panel at the D23: Ultimate Fan Event, Pixar officially announced that the upcoming animated series, “Win Or Lose”, will be coming to Disney+ on December 6th 2024.

“Win or Lose,” Pixar Animation Studios’ first-ever original series, follows the intertwined stories of eight different characters as they each prepare for their big championship softball game. The series reveals what it actually feels like to be in the shoes of each character—the insecure kids, their helicopter parents, even a lovesick umpire—with incredibly funny, very emotional and uniquely animated perspectives.

The series was originally going to be released on Disney+ last fall, but it was delayed for an unannounced reason.

Disney is also hosting a special Watch Party at the D23: Ultimate Fan Event, which will be taking place on Saturday 10th August at 6:15pm on the Backlot Stage.   Guests attending this panel will be able to watch two full episodes of “Win or Lose!”  Plus the filmmakers Carrie Hobson, Michael Yates, and David Lally will kick off the party and join the audience after the screening for a Q&A.
