“Our Only Chance” aka “La Última” Coming Soon To Disney+ (UK/Ireland)
Disney has announced the Spanish Disney+ Original series, “Our Only Chance”, aka “La Última”, is coming to Disney+ in the United Kingdom and Ireland on Friday 2nd December 2022, which is the same day the series is released on Disney+ in Spain.
“Our Only Chance” tells the story of Candela, a young woman who works at a logistics company while pursuing her dream of becoming a singer. Her life changes when Fede Ariza, an important record company executive, hears her sing in a bar. That same night, Candela meets up with Diego, an old classmate from her high school who is trying to make a living through boxing, while balancing teaching children and participating in illegal fights. They have not seen each other for years, but everything changes in their lives when they cross paths one night. In their story, they will overcome obstacles and disappointment, and experience hope, love, and friendship
The series stars Miguel Bernardeau, one of Spain’s most promising young actors (“Josefina,” “Élite,” “Todo lo otro”) as Diego, and Aitana, the musical sensation of the moment and the most important pop artist in Spain (“Mariposas,” “Formentera,” “Mon Amour – Remix,” “En el coche”), as Candela. This is also Aitana’s acting debut.
Disney+ is creating over 60 local productions in Europe by 2024, as as part of the company’s commitment to source, develop and produce original productions in Europe.
