Disney has announced that four new episodes of “Big City Greens” will be coming to Disney+ in the United States on Wednesday 15th May 2024.

Big City Greens” is an animated comedy-adventure series which follows the offbeat adventures of 10-year-old Cricket Green, a mischievous and optimistic country boy who moves to the big city with his wildly out of place family – older sister Tilly, father Bill and Gramma Alice. Cricket’s natural curiosity and enthusiasm lead him and his family on epic journeys and into the hearts of his new neighbours.  The fourth season will include the show’s 100th episode and will see the family settling into a new kind of normal.

The new episodes include:

  • Internetted/Guiding Gregly – Tilly goes down an internet rabbit hole to figure out what happened to her favorite ice cream treat. Cricket tries to teach Gregly how to make friends.
  • Family Tree/Unguarded – Bill just wants Tilly to come down from a tree. When Remy tells Vasquez he no longer needs his protection, Vasquez speaks with a therapist.
  • Concrete Jungle/Starter Pack – A nature documentary portrays Big City as a wild ecosystem. Avid collector Remy struggles to cope after Cricket finds the rarest of all trading cards.
  • Dollar Sense/True Cawing – To prove to his parents that he is money-wise, Remy starts his own business. Feeling neglected by his family, Bill befriends a murder of crows.

These episodes have recently been released weekly on the Disney Channel and continues the trend of Disney dropping batches of new episodes on Disney+. We should expect another batch of new episodes from season four later this year.

“Big City Greens” stars Chris Houghton as Cricket Green, Artemis Pebdani (“Scandal”) as Gramma Alice, Marieve Herington (“How I Met Your Mother”) as Tilly Green and Bob Joles (“Puss in Boots”) as Bill Green.

The fourth season features many guest stars, including Grammy Award-winning singer Michael Bolton, June Diane Raphael, Tom Green, NHL player Brad Marchand, esteemed character actress Margo Martindale, podcaster Justin McElroy, Tim Meadows, Dean Norris, Ms. Pat, Tim Robinson, Paul Scheer, Amy Sedaris, and comedian Trevor Wallace.

The previous three seasons of “Big City Greens”, along with the first five episodes of the fourth season, are available to stream now on Disney+.
