Disney has announced that the Latin American original series, “Mila in the Multiverse”, is going to be released on Disney+ in the United Kingdom and Ireland on Wednesday, 15th January 2023, which is the same day as when the series is due to be released in many other countries including in the United States and Australia.

Mila is 16 years old and living the adventure of her life, travelling through the multiverse in search of her mother, Elis. As she travels, she will come face to face with The Operators, a mysterious and dangerous group that wants to exterminate all universes. She will have to face them in order to save the vast multiverse.

The series was filmed in São Paulo, Brazil by Nonstop and Boutique Filmes.  The series consists of eight 30-minute episodes.

The cast includes Laura Luz (“Mila”), Malu Mader (“Elis”), Yuki Sugimoto (“Juliana”), Dani Flomin (“Pierre”), João Victor (“Vinicius”), Rafaela Mandelli (“Director Verônica”) ”), Felipe Montanari (“Bóris”), Danilo de Moura (“Domenico”), and Amanda Lyra (“Ilka”).  Julia Jordão is directing the series, based on a script by Cassio Koshikumo (“3%” and “Julie e os Fantasmas”) and Janaina Tokitaka (“Back to 15”) and producer Tiago Mello (“3%”, “Onisciente”, “ Summer Season”).
