Over the past two years, we’ve heard a lot about how Marvel Studios is pulling back on its plans, delaying some projects and cancelling others, as a way of reducing how much is being spent and also increasing the quality of new projects to help reduce superhero fatigue and restore Marvel as one of the biggest box office draws.

While the focus is returning to major films with theatrical releases, Marvel Studios is still going to be creating some shows for Disney+.  We already know that Marvel has filmed “Agatha”, “Wonder Man”, “Ironheart” and “Daredevil: Born Again”, but there is another show that has been rumbling around the rumour mill for ages, “Vision Quest”.

According to Production Weekly, filming on the upcoming “Vision Quest” Disney+ series is expected to begin this October in the UK.

Officially, Marvel hasn’t announced that the show is going to be coming out, however, it also has never officially confirmed “Wonder Man” yet either.

Marvel Studios likes to keep its cards close to its chest, so we don’t know what the show will be about, though its expected it will follow White Vision, who was introduced in “WandaVision” as he tries to regain his memories, with Paul Bethany returning to play the character.

In the comic book story of the same name, after Vision is kidnapped, becoming pure white and having had his memory wiped, he discovers the true (and tragic) nature of his children with Scarlet Witch. Though Marvel does tend to just use the comic books as an inspiration and doesn’t follow the stories completely.

With filming set to begin later this year, which is likely to spread across into early 2025, it’s probably going to be 2026 until we see the show.

Previously, the showunner of “WandaVision” and “Agatha”, Jac Schaeffer was linked to the show, with Eileen Shim working on the project as a writer, but we haven’t heard anything more about the project until recently.
