Marvel’s “Agatha: Darkhold Diaries” Disney+ Series Logo Revealed
Back at Disney+ Day in 2021, Disney revealed a brand new series would be coming to Disney+ from Marvel Studios, called “Agatha: House Of Harkness”, which would be a follow to the hit series, “WandaVision.
Filming on the new series was able to wrap before the actor’s strike began, and post-production is currently underway to get the series prepped for its release on Disney+. Initially, it was announced that the series would arrive on Disney+ at the end of 2023 and into early 2024. However, as with most Marvel Studios projects, it has been delayed until Fall 2024.
But that’s not the only change that this series has gone through, at the San Diego Comic-Con in 2022, the show was revealed to be renamed to “Agatha: Coven Of Chaos”, and recently, it was confirmed that the show is now going by the name of “Agatha: Darkhold Diaries”.
Disney has now officially revealed a brand new logo for the show via its press asset site. However, it doesn’t necessarily mean this name will stick until the Disney+ launch. There are reports that the show’s continuous rebranding could be part of the show’s PR scheme to reflect the chaos and mischief from Agatha.
Recently, more details on the show have been revealed, which will see Kathryn Hahn returning as the evil witch, Agatha Harkness, introduced in the Disney+ series, “WandaVision”. And the series will see Agatha Harkness finally break out of a spell she has been trapped in. She can’t wait to go back to her old murderous ways. Only to find that she is powerless. The only way forward for her is to embark on a perilous quest to get her powers back with the help of an unlikely friend or two.
The series will also star Aubrey Plaza, Joe Locke, Patti LuPone, Sasheer Zamata and Ali Ahn. The series will also star Miles Gutierrez-Riley, Okwui Okpokwasili, and Maria Dizzia are going to star in the series. Also returning, having previously starred in “WandaVision”, are Debra Jo Rupp, Emma Caufield, David Payton, David Lengel, Asif Ali, Amos Glick, Brian Brightman, and Kate Forbes.
