Disney has announced that the twenty-third season of “The Incredible Dr. Pol” will be released on Dinsey+ in the United States on Wednesday, 1st November 2023.

Dr. Pol and the talented Pol Vet team work around the clock to handle challenging cases and animal emergencies in central Michigan.  in the series, we get to meet Dr. Pol, an expert in large farm animals and pets. This senior is anything but retiring as he takes an old-school, no-nonsense approach to veterinary medicine. Nat Geo WILD follows The Incredible Dr. Pol as he travels across rural Michigan to care for every family pet and head of livestock in need of his expertise and kindness. Treating numerous patients, including horses, pigs, cows, sheep, alpacas, goats, cats, dogs and even an occasional reindeer, Dr. Pol is not your average vet.

The 23rd season has recently debuted on the National Geographic Wild channel and is being batch-dropped onto Disney+ shortly after the season finale.

Here’s a look at the episodes included in this season:

  • S23 E1 – Mini Mayhem – Dr. Pol performs emergency surgery on a dog that swallowed a rope toy. Dr. Nicole examines a tiny kitten with a big eye problem, and Dr. Lisa helps a horse suffering from heaves. A fungal infection glows on a Pomeranian while a lump grows on a Pitbull. The Pols celebrate their 55th wedding anniversary with cake decorated by grandkids, Silas and Abigail.
  • S23 E2 – Fairest of Them All – The Fair is in full swing! Getting to this day took months of hard work from vets and kids to get the Fair animals in tip top shape. Even after the Fair opens, the vets are on call to treat any emergency that pops up. Dr. Pol treats a goat with a torn ear as Dr. Lisa examines a limping cow. At the clinic, Dr. Nicole is tireless in her effort to save the life of a beloved dog.
  • S23 E3 – Happy 80th Doc! – Dr. Pol treats three bovines and one tiny rabbit before heading to the Netherlands with Diane to celebrate his 80th birthday. Just because the Doc’s away, it doesn’t mean that the clinic slows down. A very vocal pig needs surgery to treat a hernia, a blocked cat is in pain and requires immediate relief, and a puppy is feeling the effects of eating something inedible.
  • S23 E4 – Athena The Great – Armed with a bucket and tube, Dr. Pol works tirelessly to help a horse struggling with choke. Inside the clinic, Dr. Lisa tackles the many maladies of Mushi the cat, and Dr. Brenda treats a fussy feline. Something odd happens when Doc meets another Doc…Dr. Strange the steer. Charles is worried about his dog Athena and looks to his dad for guidance.
  • S23 E5 – A New Pup in Town – The clinic is slammed with summertime cases as the vets battle to save a badly injured cat, a farm dog with a puncture wound, and a wobbling mini horse struggling to walk. The team is seeing double as pairs of ferrets and chickens come through the door. Doc and Diane’s new puppy brings chaos and cuteness to the clinic.
  • S23 E6 – All for One, and One for Pol – The staffers become the clients as they bring in their pets for the vets to treat. Dr. Pol builds a special cast for an injured calf, Dr. Lisa chases a pair of goats, and Dr. Brenda has to change her plans when a blocked reindeer suddenly gets relief. With a goose, bunny, and pregnant pup all at the clinic, the staff works hard keeping Pol Vet running smoothly.
  • S23 E7 – Seasons Bleatings – It’s the most wonderful time of the year! As PVS decks the halls, a reindeer’s hurt hoof threatens his Christmas Eve take-off. Dr. Pol treats an abandoned puppy discovered on a cold silent night. Dr. Nicole rushes to a cow that isn’t acting right while Dr. Lisa assists a young cat struggling to breathe.
  • S23 E8 – Snowing Cats and Dogs – The Pol’s new livestock aren’t potty trained; their sheep hut isn’t draining properly and has been transformed into a Pee Palace. It’s late fall and the winter deep freeze is just around the corner, so the family needs to get it fixed fast since a new sheep is due any day.
  • S23 E9 – The Circle of Pol – Everything feels connected as the vets see patterns emerge in their cases. Treating back-to-back Australian Shepherds, waves of animals suffering respiratory ailments, and a rush of lumps and bumps keeps the team hustling. Although the symptoms, breeds, and names can feel alike, no two cases are really the same.
  • S23 E10 – Pol Paw-ty – Surprises come in all scrapes and sizes. A cockatiel has a tweaked beak and Dr. Lisa ponders a barn cat’s bladder leak. When a Chihuahua arrives after hours with an eye emergency, Doc remains focused. A serious blemish surfaces on a show dog and a hoarse horse struggles to breathe. Everyone comes together to make Diane’s birthday extra special.
