Korean Disney+ Original “The Tyrant” Teaser Trailer Released
Disney has released a teaser trailer for the upcoming Korean Original series, “Tyrant”, which will be coming out on August 14th 2024 on Disney+ around the world and on Hulu/Hulu On Disney+ in the United States.
The new series tells the story of the development of a cutting-edge virus as part of ‘The Tyrant Project,’ directed by a group of rogue scientists working within the South Korean government. The project aspires to elevate their country’s political power on the global stage.
However, before the project can be finalized, a group of U.S. agents uncover the plan and demand that all samples be handed over. The bioweapon is stolen during a secret handover between Korean and U.S. intelligence agencies, which leads to both governments and a black ops team going to war to recover the virus.

This new Korean original series stars Jo Yoon-su, who has previously starred in “True Beauty” and “Juvenile Justice,” as a vengeful assassin, Chae Jagyeong. It also stars Cha Seoungwon, who has previously starred in “Our Blues,” as a cold-blooded mercenary, Lim Sang.
Kim Seon-ho, who starred in Start-Up, will play Director Choe, the leader of the secret Korean project, while Kim Kangwoo, who starred in Le Grand Chef, will play U.S. intelligence agent Paul.
The series will consist of four episodes and has been directed by Park Hoonjung, who previously worked on “New World” and “The Witch: Part 1”.
