Is “Gladiator 2″ Coming To Disney+?
This winter, after almost twenty-five years, a sequel to the fantastic “Gladiator” movie is heading to cinemas, and it continues the epic saga of power, intrigue, and vengeance set in Ancient Rome.
Years after witnessing the death of the revered hero Maximus at the hands of his uncle, Lucius is forced to enter the Colosseum after his home is conquered by the tyrannical Emperors who now lead Rome with an iron fist. With rage in his heart and the future of the Empire at stake, Lucius must look to his past to find strength and honour to return the glory of Rome to its people.
It stars Paul Mescal, Pedro Pascal, Joseph Quinn, Fred Hechinger, Lior Raz, Derek Jacobi, with Connie Nielsen and Denzel Washington.
The film was directed by Ridley Scott and produced by Walter Parkes, Laurie MacDonald, Raymond Kirk, and Aidan Elliott.
When Is “Gladiator 2” Released?
“Gladiator 2” will be released exclusively in cinemas on November 22nd 2024.
When Will “Gladiator 2” Be On Disney+?
Unfortunately, for Disney+ subscribers, “Gladiator 2″ has been created and distributed by Paramount, so it will not be available to Disney+ subscribers.
Instead, once it’s finished its theatrical release and has been available for purchase on digital platforms for a few months, it’ll be heading to Paramount+ in the United States and in many other countries around the world.
However, in the United States, the first film, “Gladiator”, will be coming to Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States as part of a licensing deal for a limited time. So, in theory, “Gladiator 2” could eventually be released on Hulu and Disney+, but it won’t be for years.
