“High Hopes” Coming Soon To Hulu & Hulu On Disney+
Disney has announced details on a brand new reality series called “High Hopes.” The series follows Belarus-born brothers Slava and Mishka and their stoned crew through the trials and tribulations of taking their cannabis business to new heights.
As one of the oldest cannabis dispensaries in Hollywood, MMD attracts a wild mix of weed-loving customers and is a home away from home for their OG employees who work hard and smoke harder! This season builds to their biggest day of the year—4.20—as the gang attempts to expand nationwide and release their own top-shelf cannabis brand. Will they find what they’re looking for, or will their hopes go up in smoke?

The new six-episode series will premiere on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ on April 20th 2024, which incorporates the 4.20 number, which is cannabis culture slang for marijuana and hashish consumption, especially smoking around the time 4:20 pm. It also refers to cannabis-oriented celebrations that take place annually on April 20th.
Jimmy Kimmel’s production company, Kimmelot, is creating the series with Wheelhouse and ITV America. It’s unknown if this series will also be released as a Star Original on Disney+ outside the United States.
Ben Steinbauer serves as executive producer and showrunner. Jimmy Kimmel and Scott Lonker are executive producers of the show, along with ITV America’s Tim Cohen-Laurie and Karl Holland. Jennifer Stander also serves as co-executive producer.
