Back at Investor Day in 2020, Disney announced that FX was developing a new series based on the classic 20th Century Studios franchise “Alien.” The series was being created by Noah Hawley, who had previously worked on FX’s “Fargo.”  But due to the pandemic and last summer’s pandemic, the show has gone through many delays.

The series tells the story of what happened when a mysterious space vessel crash-lands on Earth, a young woman (Sydney Chandler) and a ragtag group of tactical soldiers make a fateful discovery that puts them face-to-face with the planet’s greatest threat.

Today, Disney released the teaser trailer for the upcoming series publically, after weeks of it being shown to audiences about to watch the new film, “Alien: Romulus” in cinemas.
