FX’s “Alien: Earth” Season 2 Cast Revealed

Disney has announced brand new details on the upcoming second season of the hit FX series, “Alien: Earth”, which is currently in production in London, England.

The show tells the stories of what happens when the mysterious deep space research vessel USCSS Maginot crash-lands on Earth, “Wendy” (Sydney Chandler) and a ragtag group of tactical soldiers make a fateful discovery that puts them face-to-face with the planet’s greatest threat in FX’s “Alien: Earth.”

In the year 2120, the Earth is governed by five corporations: Prodigy, Weyland-Yutani, Lynch, Dynamic and Threshold. In this Corporate Era, cyborgs (humans with both biological and artificial parts) and synthetics (humanoid robots with artificial intelligence) exist alongside humans. But the game is changed when the wunderkind Founder and CEO of Prodigy Corporation unlocks a new technological advancement: hybrids (humanoid robots infused with human consciousness). The first hybrid prototype named “Wendy” marks a new dawn in the race for immortality. After Weyland-Yutani’s spaceship collides into Prodigy City, “Wendy” and the other hybrids encounter mysterious life forms more terrifying than anyone could have ever imagined. 

Disney has announced some of the cast joining the second season, which will include Tracey Ullman, Sam Spruell and Jerome Flynn, along with Peter Dinklage. 

The newly announced trio join Sydney Chandler and an expansive international cast, including Alex Lawther, Timothy Olyphant, Essie Davis, Babou Ceesay, Samuel Blenkin, Adarsh Gourav, Jonathan Ajayi, Erana James, Lily Newmark, Adrian Edmondson, David Rysdahl, Moe Bar-El, Sandra Yi Sencindiver and more.

Tracey Ullman has previously starred in “Mrs America”, with Sam Spruell starring in the hit HBO show, “A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms” and FX’s “Fargo”.  Jerome Flynn has previously starred in “Soldier, Soldier” and “Game Of Thrones”. 

FX’s “Alien: Earth” is created for television and executive-produced by Noah Hawley. Ridley Scott, David W. Zucker, Clayton Krueger, Emilia Serrano, Bob DeLaurentis, Peter Calloway, Monica Macer, John Campisi and Simon Emanuel also serve as executive producers. Alien: Earth is produced by FX Productions.

The first season of “Alien: Earth” is available to stream on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States and on Disney+ around the world.
