2025 is going to be a busy year for Disney+ and Hulu subscribers, as lots of new original shows and films will be released throughout the year.

In 2025, plenty of movies and shows from 20th Century Studios, along with its sister studios, 20th Television, 20th Animation, FX, and Searchlight Pictures, will be heading to Hulu and Disney+.

This is just a list of some of the shows and movies heading to the streaming service in the year ahead that are part of the Disney brand, so it doesn’t include Disney, Star Wars, Pixar, Marvel or National Geographic titles.

Due to a unique way Disney operates its streaming services, most of titles on this list will be available on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States and on Disney+ internationally.

Here’s the rundown of some of the releases from 20th Century Studios in 2025:


Paradise

“Paradise” is set in an upscale community inhabited by some of the world’s most prominent individuals. But this tranquillity explodes when a shocking murder occurs, triggering a high-stakes investigation.

This new original series debuts on 28th January 2025, with the first three episodes, followed by a weekly release on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States and on Disney+ internationally.


FX’s Alien: Earth

When a mysterious space vessel crash-lands on Earth, a young woman (Sydney Chandler) and a ragtag group of tactical soldiers make a fateful discovery that puts them face-to-face with the planet’s greatest threat in FX’s highly anticipated TV series Alien: Earth from creator Noah Hawley.


FX’s Dying for Sex

This series tells the story of a woman who is diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer who leaves her husband of 15 years and begins to explore her sexuality; she gets the courage and support to go on this adventure from her best friend, who stays by her side all the way to the very end.


Will Trent – Season 3

Based on Karin Slaughter’s New York Times bestselling “Will Trent” series, Special Agent Will Trent of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) was abandoned at birth and endured a harsh coming-of-age in Atlanta’s overwhelmed foster care system. Now, Will uses his unique point of view in the pursuit of justice and has the highest clearance rate in the GBI.


Family Guy – Season 23

Animated series “Family Guy” features the adventures of the Griffin family. Endearingly ignorant Peter and his stay-at-home wife Lois reside in Quahog, R.I., and have three kids. Meg, the eldest child, is a social outcast, and teenage Chris is awkward and clueless when it comes to the opposite sex. The youngest, Stewie, is a genius baby bent on killing his mother and destroying the world. The talking dog, Brian, keeps Stewie in check while sipping martinis and sorting through his own life issues.


The Bear – Season 4

FX’s critically acclaimed series “The Bear” is about food, family and the insanity of the grind. It’s a losing battle every day in the restaurant business, and as Carmy pushes himself harder than ever and demands excellence from his crew, they do their best to match his intensity. Their quest for culinary excellence propels them to new levels and stresses the bonds that hold the restaurant together.


Welcome To Wrexham – Season 4

Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds run Wrexham Football Club as they try to create an underdog story the world can root for. From Hollywood to Wales, the docuseries tracks their crash course in ownership and the interwoven fates of a team and a town.


A Complete Unknown

New York, 1961. Against the backdrop of a vibrant music scene and tumultuous cultural upheaval, an enigmatic 19-year-old from Minnesota arrives with his guitar and revolutionary talent, destined to change the course of American music. He forges intimate relationships with music icons of Greenwich Village on his meteoric rise, culminating in a groundbreaking and controversial performance that reverberates worldwide.

“A Complete Unknown” is coming to cinemas on Christmas Day and it will be coming to Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States and on Disney+ internationally in 2025.


The Amateur

Charlie Heller (Malek) is a brilliant, but deeply introverted decoder for the CIA working out of a basement office at headquarters in Langley whose life is turned upside down when his wife is killed in a London terrorist attack. When his supervisors refuse to take action, he takes matters into his own hands, embarking on a dangerous trek across the globe to track down those responsible, his intelligence serving as the ultimate weapon for eluding his pursuers and achieving his revenge.

This new movie is coming to cinemas in April and will be coming to Hulu and Disney+ later in the year.


Untitled Lily James Film

Inspired by actual events about the entrepreneur Whitney Wolfe Herd, the founder of online dating platform Bumble.

All-new feature film set for release in 2025 on Hulu in the U.S and Disney+ in all other territories.


A Real Pain

Mismatched cousins David (Jesse Eisenberg) and Benji (Kieran Culkin) reunite for a tour through Poland to honour their beloved grandmother. The adventure takes a turn when the odd-couple’s old tensions resurface against the backdrop of their family history.

“A Real Pain” is currently in cinemas and will be coming to Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States and on Disney+ internationally in 2025.


Futurama – Season 13

Following the critically acclaimed 2023 revival of Futurama, the epic sci-fi series from Matt Groening and David X. Cohen returns in 2024 with ten all-new episodes. On this orbit around the sun, our occasionally heroic crew embarks on mind-bending adventures involving birthday party games to the death, the secrets of Bender’s ancestral robot village, A.I. friends (and enemies), impossibly cute beanbags, and the true 5 million-year-old story behind the consciousness-altering substance known as coffee. And, of course, the next chapter in Fry and Leela’s fateful, time-twisted romance


Good American Family

Inspired by the true story of the Midwestern couple who adopts what they believe is a little girl with dwarfism. As they begin to raise her alongside their three biological children, they slowly start to believe she may not be who she says she is. As they question her story, they’re confronted with hard questions of their own about the lengths they’re willing to go to defend themselves, falling into a battle that’s fought in the tabloids, the courtroom, and ultimately their marriage.


Deli Boys

When their convenience store-magnate father suddenly dies, a pair of pampered Pakistani American brothers lose everything and are forced to reckon with their Baba’s secret life of crime as they attempt to take up his mantle in the underworld.


Nightbitch

A woman (Amy Adams) pauses her career to be a stay-at-home mom, but soon, her new domesticity takes a surreal turn.

“Nightbitch” is currently in cinemas and will be coming to Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States and on Disney+ internationally in 2025.
