Disney had a successful night at the 80th annual Golden Globe Awards, which was held at the Beverly Hilton in Hollywood.

In the movie categories, Searchlight Pictures film, “The Banshees of Inisherin” picked up three awards, including Best Film (Musical Or Comedy). While “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” also picked up an award for Angela Bassett’s performance as the Queen of Wakanda.

On the TV side, ABC’s “Abbott Elementary” picked up three awards including Best TV Series (Musical/Comedy), with “The Bear” and “The Dropout” also picking up an award for Best Actors in their categories. All three shows are released as Star Originals on Disney+ internationally.
