Disney has kicked off a new advertising campaign, ‘House of Disney+’ across EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Asia), which brings to life the streaming service’s unique lineup and iconic Disney storytelling. The campaign’s ambition is to surprise people with the full range of TV and movies that are available to subscribers.

This includes a brand new commercial called “Stories You’d Expect + Stories You Wouldn’t”, highlighting the different content available on Disney+, such as “The Walking Dead”, “The King’s Man”, “The Simpsons” and “Toy Story”.

Usama Al-Qassab, Vice President Marketing Disney+ EMEA, The Walt Disney Company, said in a statement:

“Disney is synonymous with timeless storytelling and with this campaign we want to make sure viewers understand Disney+ is the home of a wide variety of iconic content. From “Encanto” and “The Book of Boba Fett” to “Pam and Tommy” and “The Walking Dead” and our upcoming slate of European originals. Our subscribers can find just about anything they are in the mood for on Disney+. Some may even be surprised by what they find.”

Publicis Groupe UK’s Chief Creative Officer Ben Mooge, the Publicis Imagine Power of One team inclusive of Leo Burnett London, also said in a statement:

“Disney+ is fast becoming known for TV and movies beyond the expected – as so many of us who time-travelled with the “Beatles: Get Back” recently can testify to. Disney has almost 100 years of rich heritage in setting the bar on storytelling and production – so we’ve brought the same care and craft in bringing this familiar yet surprising House of Disney+ to life. Blending CGI with live action and everything in between, Ian has helped us make a film that’s worthy of the content on Disney+.”

Here’s a look at some of the new advertising for this campaign:

As part of this new promotion, Disney has confirmed some of the biggest new films and series heading to Disney+ over the next few months, including:

“Pam and Tommy”

Set in the Wild West early days of the Internet, “Pam & Tommy” is based on the incredible true story of the Pamela Anderson (Lily James) and Tommy Lee (Sebastian Stan) sex tape. Stolen from the couple’s home by a disgruntled contractor (Seth Rogen), the video went from underground bootleg-VHS curiosity to full-blown cultural obsession when it hit the Web in 1997. A love story, crime caper and cautionary tale rolled into one, the eight-part original limited series explores the intersection of privacy, technology and celebrity, tracing the origins of our current Reality TV Era to a stolen tape seen by millions but meant to have an audience of just two. Coming to Disney+ from February 2nd.

“The King’s Man”

As a collection of history’s worst tyrants and criminal masterminds gather to plot a war to wipe out millions, one man must race against time to stop them. Discover the origins of the very first independent intelligence agency in “The King’s -Man”. Coming to Disney+ on February 9th.

“The Walking Dead”

This February, “The Walking Dead” returns with our heroes fighting imminent hellfire under Reaper attack; or battling Mother Nature’s torrential wrath in Alexandria. For all, their world is literally crashing down around them. Meanwhile, life in the Commonwealth is not as idyllic as it seems. For some, hope will be renewed. Others will be pushed past the point of no return. One truth holds tight: Lives hang in the balance with each decision drastically changing their future, their chances of survival, and the state of each community.

“The Dropout”

Money. Romance. Tragedy. Deception. Limited series “The Dropout,” the story of Elizabeth Holmes (Amanda Seyfried) and Theranos is an unbelievable tale of ambition and fame gone terribly wrong. How did the world’s youngest self-made female billionaire lose it all in the blink of an eye?

“How I Met Your Father”

In the near future, Sophie is telling her son the story of how she met his father: a story that catapults us back to the present where Sophie and her close-knit group of friends are in the midst of figuring out who they are, what they want out of life, and how to fall in love in the age of dating apps and limitless options. Coming to Disney+ on March 9th

“Turning Red”Disney and Pixar’s “Turning Red” introduces Mei Lee (voice of Rosalie Chiang), a confident, dorky 13-year-old torn between staying her mother’s dutiful daughter and the chaos of adolescence. Her protective, if not slightly overbearing mother, Ming (voice of Sandra Oh), is never far from her daughter—an unfortunate reality for the teenager. And as if changes to her interests, relationships and body weren’t enough, whenever she gets too excited (which is practically ALWAYS), she “poofs” into a giant red panda! Directed by Academy Award winner Domee Shi (Pixar short “Bao”) and produced by Lindsey Collins. Coming To Disney+ on March 11th

“The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild”

“The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild” continues the hilarious escapades of everyone’s favourite prehistoric mammals. Desperate for some distance from their older sister Ellie, the thrill-seeking possum brothers Crash and Eddie set out to find a place of their own, but quickly find themselves trapped in a massive cave underground. They are rescued by the one-eyed, adventure-loving, dinosaur-hunting weasel, Buck Wild, and together they must face the unruly dinosaurs who inhabit the Lost World. Coming to Disney+ on March 25th.

“Moon Knight”

“Moon Knight” follows Steven Grant, a mild-mannered gift-shop employee, who becomes plagued with blackouts and memories of another life. Steven discovers he has dissociative identity disorder and shares a body with mercenary Marc Spector. As Steven/Marc’s enemies converge upon them, they must navigate their complex identities while thrust into a deadly mystery among the powerful gods of Egypt.

“The Kardashians”

When the countdown to the New Year ends, the countdown to the new show begins. The Kardashians are coming to Disney+ soon! The Kardashian/Jenner family bring their exciting next chapter to Disney+ in this new, intimate journey into their lives, featuring Kris Jenner, Kourtney Kardashian, Kim Kardashian West, Khloe Kardashian, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner. Fulwell 73 partner Ben Winston executive produces alongside Emma Conway and Elizabeth Jones with Danielle King serving as showrunner and executive producer.

“Pistol”

Based on legendary Sex Pistols guitarist Steve Jones’ 2018 memoir, Lonely Boy: Tales from a Sex Pistol, the series offers a fascinating new perspective on one of rock’s greatest ever stories – moving from West London’s council estates, to Vivienne Westwood and Malcolm McLaren’s notorious Kings Road SEX shop, to the international controversy that came with the release of “Never Mind the Bollocks”, which is frequently listed as one of the most influential albums of all time.

“West Side Story”

From producer and director Steven Spielberg, with a script by screenwriter and playwright Tony Kushner, comes “West Side Story”. An adaptation of the 1957 musical, the film tells the tale of forbidden love and the rivalry between the Jets and the Sharks, two teenage street gangs of different ethnic backgrounds.

Robust parental controls ensure that Disney+ remains a suitable viewing experience for everyone in the family. Subscribers can set access limits on mature content and create PIN-protected profiles alongside the already existing Kids Profiles to give parents and guardians peace of mind.
