Some villains, from Disney Channel Original Movies and TV series, show off their singing and dancing skills in Disney’s “Hall of Villains.” The 22 minute special, that originally aired on Disney Channel in 2019 features songs from Meg Donnelly from “Z-O-M-B-I-E-S,” as well as Issac Ryan Brown, Kylie Cantrall and Sarah Jeffrey who have all starred in Disney Channel shows and films. It was a display of great, young talent with songs that will certainly appeal to Disney Channel’s target audience.

My favorite performance was probably “Problem (The Monster Remix),” performed by Issac Ryan Brown. It had an “Aladdin”-like theme with Jafar’s snake staff that Meg Donnelly started carrying around after the performance ended. “Aladdin” is my all time favorite Disney animated film, so anything that makes me think of it will grab my attention. He’s a talented singer and dancer and I’m eager to see what Brown does going forward.

My least favorite performance was probably “Sucker” performed by Kylie Cantrall. She did amazingly well and is absolutely talented, it just didn’t appeal to me. Still, if you have a child who is a fan of “Ron’s Gone Wrong” or “Bizaardvark,” they will probably love to see her performance. While it was my least favorite performance on this special, she still has a bright future ahead of her.

This is a fun special with good music, awesome dancing and talented performers. Give it a shot. The kids will love it and the adults will, at the very least, be able to tolerate it. I probably won’t revisit it, but I’m not the target audience. I’m certain my niece, and maybe even my nephew, will want to watch it on repeat. It’s a solid musical outing.
