Disney has announced that the 20th Century Fox box office smash, Avatar, will be available on Disney+ when it launches on November 12th in the US, Netherlands and Canada, in addition to New Zealand and Australia on November 19th.

This announcement was made by the films director James Cameron, who is currently in New Zealand filming the sequels.

Avatar was announced to be coming to Disney+ back at the Investors Day event in April, but wasn’t confirmed for launch until today.
