FX Developing “A Really Bad Person” Series

Disney’s FX Productions has begun development on a brand new crime drama called “A Really Bad Person”, which will be created by “K-Pop Demon Hunters” co-writers Danya Jimenez and Hannah McMechan.

The series will have comedic overtones for a dramedy feel and tell the story of a very relatable American girl who does the most unrelatable thing while visiting London, she pretends to be the missing daughter of a British family. It’s a last-ditch effort to gain citizenship, a fresh start, and escape her complicated past.

“A Really Bad Person” is a co-production between Legendary Entertainment and FX Productions.

Danya Jimenez and Hannah McMechan will be executive producing the show along with Brett Baer and Dave Finkel, who previously worked on “Bad Sisters” and “New Girl”. Also executive producing is Sharon Hall, who recently worked on “The Expanse”.

Since the show is still in the early stages of development, no casting details have been revealed, nor any information on when it will go into production, or arrive on Hulu/Disney+.

As with any show in development, creative changes maybe made and it might not necessarily arrive on our screens in the future.
