Disney has announced that one of the most watched new drama series, “Tracker,” will soon be coming to Disney+ in Canada, following its recent airing on CTV.

The series stars Justin Hartley as Colter Shaw, a lone-wolf survivalist who roams the country as a reward seeker, using his expert tracking skills to help private citizens and law enforcement solve all manner of mysteries while contending with his own fractured family.

Disney’s 20th Television is the studio behind the show, which has been a massive success, where it was recently revealed to be the #1 non-sports show on television for the 2023-2024 season, which is why it has already been renewed for a second season.

The series is based on the bestselling novel “The Never Game” by Jeffery Deaver.   Justin Hartley, Ken Olin, Elwood Reid and Ben Winters serve as executive producers.

The entire first season will be released on Disney+ in Canada on June 19th 2024. The series has also been released on CBC/Paramount+ in the United States, in addition to being a Star Original on Disney+ in the UK.

Roger’s Take: “Tracker” has quickly become one of my favourite shows of the year, though I’ve still got a few more new episodes to check out. Due to the unique nature of how Disney still releases some of its shows on CBC, it’s why the show has had a delayed release hitting Disney+ in Canada.
