It’s Sunday and time for us to take a look at what’s trending on Disney+ this week, with “The Simpsons” continuing to dominate the top spot.   The newest Disney+ Original series, “The Right Stuff” did slip into the top 10, along with the Marvel X-Men movie, X2 which was recently added.

Here is the Disney+ Trending chart for the week ending Sunday 11th October 2020 for the United States:

  1. The Simpsons (-)
  2. Hocus Pocus (-)
  3. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse (-)
  4. Moana (-)

  24. Secret Society Of Second Born Royals (10)
  25. Zootopia (Re-Entry)

“The Simpsons” continues to cling onto the top spot on the trending chart, with the recent addition of season 31, though it’ll surely face some stiff competition when Star Wars: The Mandalorian arrives.

“Puppy Dog Pals”, “Tangled” and “Zootopia” all re-entered the trending chart today, pushing “Maleficent: Mistress Of Evil”, “Aladdin” and “The Magic Of Disney’s Animal Kingdom” out.   It’s unfortunate that the latest Disney+ Original series didn’t make the trending chart today, but documentaries rarely last long due to the repeat viewing factor of older popular movies.

Disney doesn’t provide actual viewing numbers for Disney+, so this chart is based off the Trending section on my Disney+ app on Sunday morning.  Numbers within brackets indicate last weeks spot on the trending chart.
