It’s Wednesday and time to take a look at what’s been added onto Disney+ in the United Kingdom and Ireland today, which includes the return of “Big Shot” and a brand new series, “Candy” plus much more.

Here’s the rundown:


Big Shot – Season 2

Marvyn’s (Stamos) latest plan toward relevance is to get his team broadcast on ESPN and his method is to recruit an unlikely player: Ava (Echeagaray), a gutsy beach volleyball phenom whose public tantrum got her ousted from her own sport. Between losing their assistant coach Holly Barrett (Gilsig) to a rival school, new friction amongst teammates, a sudden and unexpected proximity to boys, and off-the-court disasters that no one could’ve predicted, this season, the Westbrook Sirens have even more to prove.


Candy

Candy Montgomery is a 1980 housewife and mother who did everything right—good husband, two kids, nice house, even the careful planning and execution of transgressions—but when the pressure of conformity builds within her, her actions scream for just a bit of freedom. With deadly results.


Star Wars: Andor – Episode 6

The “Andor” series will explore a new perspective from the Star Wars galaxy, focusing on Cassian Andor’s journey to discover the difference he can make. The series brings forward the tale of the burgeoning rebellion against the Empire and how people and planets became involved. It’s an era filled with danger, deception and intrigue where Cassian will embark on the path that is destined to turn him into a rebel hero.


Let The World See

This series is a fresh and deep examination of a mother’s fight to bring her son’s body home to Chicago – and her pivotal, yet heart-breaking, decision to have an open-casket funeral for the public to see. Her decision ultimately serves as a turning point for the civil rights movement as she journeys to face her son’s murderers in court.


Women In Taipei – New Episode

I-Shan, a girl from Tainan, longs to go to Taipei. With a stroke of luck, she manages to find room to stay at her aunt’s apartment in Taipei, and begins to work hard. Frustrations arise as she finds no luck with her interviews and is then framed by her colleague. When a quarrel forces her out of her aunt’s apartment, I-Shan realizes that she is still an outsider in Taipei.


May It Please the Court – New Episode

May It Please The Court. May It Please The Court follows two lawyers who are forced to work together after they uncover a series of conspiracies that will derail their cases


The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers – Season 2 – Episode 3

It’s the annual Coach Classic, where the coaches take the ice against the kids. It’s real smash-mouth hockey, and everyone’s got an agenda. Evan’s desperate to get picked for the game. Alex is desperate for him not to, while Cole wants Jace to play to get over the glitch in his shot. Meanwhile, Maya, Sam, and Koob see a unique opportunity around this competition. Along the way, Sofi discovers there’s a lot more to Jace’s past, and an unexpected twist changes Alex’s plans at EPIC.


Rookie Cops

A coming-of-age story that captures the spirit, challenges, and passion of youth as two students at the Korean National Police University experience life’s charms and traumas while trying to become full-fledged cops.


The Captain

17-year-old Laura and her friends are due to graduate high school. They see what it means to grow up and to all of a sudden be responsible for oneself, for one’s friends, for one’s love – and for one’s actions. They’ll learn what it means to no longer be a child, but at the same time have no clue about what being an adult truly means. Laura and Olli are dating, although her feelings are not always as clear and as deep as she would like them to be. She is unsure and, at the same time, feels attracted to Daniel. When Olli realizes this, the situation escalates.

Both Chase and Harper try to move forward with their plans, but their choices backfire.

A young mortician discovers the living are more terrifying than the dead.
