It’s Friday and that means its time for some new content to arrive on Disney+ in Australia and New Zealand. Today’s new additions includes the finale of the second season of Star Wars: The Mandalorian. There is also a brand new documentary series called “On Pointe” in addition to a wide selection of Disney Channel library content.


Star Wars: The Mandalorian – Season 2 – Episode 8 (Season Finale)

The Mandalorian and the Child continue their journey, facing enemies and rallying allies as they make their way through a dangerous galaxy in the tumultuous era after the collapse of the Galactic Empire.


On Pointe

“On Pointe” is a six-part docu-series that captures a season in the School of American Ballet (SAB) in New York City. Featuring unprecedented access to the famous ballet institution, the series follows the lives of the students ages 8 to 18 pursuing their dreams to become ballet dancers. While older students from all over the country rigorously train for professional careers, younger students from New York City are put through their paces as they rehearse and perform in New York City Ballet’s holiday classic “George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker” onstage at Lincoln Center.


The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse – Episode 9 & 10

“Supermarket Scramble”
Mickey and his friends’ plans for a barbeque get sidetracked after a quick trip to the supermarket turns into an odyssey.

“Just the Four of Us”
Donald and Daisy’s little lie becomes a big problem when they try to get out of a group date with Mickey and Minnie.


Disney Big Hero 6 The Series, S3 (2017)

Based on the Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Academy Award®-winning feature film, “Big Hero 6 The Series” continues the adventures and friendship of 14-year-old tech genius Hiro, his compassionate, cutting-edge robot Baymax and their friends Wasabi, Honey Lemon, Go Go and Fred as they form the legendary superhero team Big Hero 6 and embark on high-tech adventures protecting their city from an array of scientifically enhanced villains. In his normal day-to-day life, Hiro faces daunting academic challenges and social trials as the new prodigy at San Fransokyo Institute of Technology.


Disney Junior T.O.T.S., S2 (episodes 1-11), (2019)

“T.O.T.S.,” a heartfelt animated comedy series for kids age 2-7, explores the hilarious adventures of best friends Pip and Freddy, a tenacious penguin and a kind-hearted flamingo, who are the only non-stork delivery birds in-training at Tiny Ones Transport Service (T.O.T.S.). As new members of the esteemed team, these junior flyers must take tender care in taking baby animals from the nursery to their forever families around the globe. Each episode features two 11-minute stories that highlight the use of creative thinking and problem solving to model for young viewers that there isn’t just one way to achieve a goal.


Disney The Owl House, S1 (2019)

“The Owl House” is an animated fantasy-comedy series that follows Luz, a self-assured teenage girl who accidentally stumbles upon a portal to a magical world where she befriends a rebellious witch, Eda, and an adorably tiny warrior, King. Despite not having magical abilities, Luz pursues her dream of becoming a witch by serving as Eda’s apprentice at the Owl House and ultimately finds a new family in an unlikely setting.


PJ Masks, S4 (episodes 10-16), (2019)

During the day, Amaya, Connor and Greg lead totally normal lives, but they transform into superheroes during the night and use their powers to fight villains and solve mysteries.


Thailand’s Wild Side, S1 (2020)

Wild creatures bring up their young, search for partners and fight for survival against the stunning backdrop of Thailand’s jungles, mountains and wetlands.


Arendelle Castle Yule Log

For your holiday celebrations, set the wintry mood with Anna and Elsa’s Arendelle Castle yule log. The castle is newly decorated this year with elements harkening back to Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Kristoff and Sven’s recent journey to the Enchanted Forest. Happy Holidays from Arendelle!

Miraculous World: New York, United Heroez

Marinette’s class must travel to New York to celebrate French-American Friendship Week. The whole class participates in it… except Adrien, because his father refuses to let him go. In anticipation of her departure, Ladybug asks Cat Noir to watch over Paris but does not specify the reasons for her absence. The latter takes the mission very seriously… but when Marinette, as a class delegate, convinces Gabriel to let his son go with his classmates, Adrien has a problem. Indeed, the schoolboy is also Cat Noir in secret, he cannot at the same time watch over Paris and be with his class in New York. How is he going to do that? If the two heroes are away, who will watch over Paris? There’s one thing Ladybug and Cat Noir don’t know: Hawk Moth is also getting ready to travel! The French-American Friendship Week interests him the most and it may well be that American superheroes need a little help! What can Hawk Moth have in mind when heading to New York?


Disney Channel Holiday House Party

The show features Disney Channel stars, remotely from their homes, delivering a holiday sketch comedy show for kids and families. Hosted by Miranda May (“BUNK’D”), the ensemble of comedic actors will deck the halls with a variety of wacky characters and hilarious sketches, including a Gen Z influencer take on a Charles Dickens classic, a Disney Wand ID fail and a “High School Musical” throwback.
