Disney has announced a special Christmas episode of the French Disney+ Original series, “Week-End Family” is going to be released on December 9th 2022.

The series, which debuted on Disney+ earlier this year, tells the story of what happens every weekend, which sees Fred taking care of his girls Clara (15), Victoire (12) and Romy (9). Each has a different mother with whom she lives during the week. A new stepmother joins in this happy mix when Fred falls madly in love with Emma, a Canadian doctoral student in child psychology.

It’s the first Christmas in France for Emma ( Daphné Coté-Hallé ), Fred ( Eric Judor ) and the girls ( Liona Bordonaro , Midie Dreyfus , Roxane Barazzuol ) decide to cook her a feast, but Emma doesn’t celebrate Christmas in the same way.    This special features a charity show in Quebec and some problems with the in-laws and ex’s.

This holiday special is written by Eric Judor , Hafid F. Benamar and Baptiste Nicolaï and produced by ELEPHANT.  It will be directed by Pierre-François Martin-Laval .

A second season of “Week-End Family” is also coming soon to Disney+.
