The Walt Disney Company has announced that it will be holding its annual shareholder’s meeting of shareholders on Tuesday, March 9th, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. ET / 10:00 a.m. PT as a virtual meeting.

During these corporate shareholder meetings, we are given details on the current Disney+ subscriber count and on how the launch of Star has done during its International rollout on Disney+.  Plus “Raya and the Last Dragon”, will have just been released in cinemas and on Disney+ Premier Access the week before.

It will also provide financial details on Disney+, Hulu and other areas of the Walt Disney Company.

This year’s annual shareholders meeting will no doubt be very different to previous ones, due to the huge impact the Coronavirus has had on Disney’s earnings, with its theme parks either closed or running at a reduced capacity, its cruise line shut down and the entire 2020 film slate removed from cinemas.

The event will be available via webcast at www.disney.com/investors.
