Disney has announced that the seventh episode of “The Mandalorian”, will feature a special exclusive sneak peek at the upcoming movie, Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker.

The new Star Wars movie will arrive in theatres on Friday 20th December, so Disney will move the seventh episode of the Mandalorian forward to Wednesday 18th December.

There could be many reasons for the shift in release dates, but I suspect the main reason is to keep the social media discussion focused on “The Rise Of Skywalker”, though many believe the Mandalorian might have a connection with the new movie.

Disney also provided a brief description for the episode:

An old rival extends an invitation for The Mandalorian to make peace.
