“Travis Barker: Louder Than Fear” Coming Soon To Hulu

Following the huge success of “The Kardashians”, Disney is continuing to build out its relationship with the extended family, as it’s been revealed at this week’s “Get Real” event, that a new documentary film about Kourtney Kardashian’s husband and Blink 182 drummer, Travis Barker, will be coming to Hulu this summer.

The new documentary will follow the musician as he embarks on a raw and redemptive journey, which started after surviving a devastating plane crash that nearly took his life.

Once a trash collector in Laguna Beach, Barker’s life changed when he stepped in as a replacement for Blink-182’s drummer — igniting a meteoric rise that would make him famous. Yet beneath the spectacle of fame, the film reveals a complex man battling pain, grief and the thin line between survival and surrender.

According to Deadline, this new documentary will feature appearances from collaborators, cultural icons and those closest to him. They help tell the story of the man behind the tattoos.

Travis took to the stage during the event to announce the documentary and said that this documentary will offer an “unfiltered look at my journey after a life-changing experience, and also spotlights the amazing people I have in my life who carried me through it. I feel incredibly lucky to be able to document it and be able to share it with all of you.”

“Travis Barker: Louder Than Fear” is produced by Media Weaver Entertainment. The project is directed by Justin Krook and Michael Dwyer and produced by Matthew Weaver and Nick Stern. Executive producers include Lawrence Vavra and John Janick.

Travis has previously worked with Disney on a special, “‘Til Death Do Us Part Kourtney & Travis”, which followed the couple getting married in Portofino, Italy.   The special is available to stream on Hulu and Disney+ internationally.

No release date has been confirmed, but it will be coming to Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States this summer, and it’s likely it will get a global release on Disney+, though that’s not yet been officially announced.

Roger’s Take:  I’ve been a fan of “Blink 182” since their breakout hit in the late 90s and having seen Travis on the recent seasons of “The Kardashians”, it’ll be nice to learn more about him.
