Just ahead of this weekends Marvel Studios Panel at the San Diego Comic Con, where the next phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe will be announced, The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that a fourth Thor movie will be made.

Taika Waititi will be returning to write and direct this new movie, following the huge success of 2017’s Thor: Ragnarok.  

He was going to be making a new version of Akira for Warner Brothers, but due to production issues, it’s been delayed and production might pick up after the new Thor movie is made.

Chris Hemsworth is also expected to return to the role and he is also thought to be appearing in the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3, after we last saw his character in Avengers: Endgame.

Expect more details to officially be revealed on Saturday during Marvel Studios panel.
