Disney has announced at the Annecy International Animated Film Festival that a brand new short-form series inspired by 2023’s No. 1 new preschool series, “SuperKitties”, will be heading to Disney+ this summer.

‘SuperKitties: Su-Purr Adventures’ is an adorable and action-packed series about four fierce and furry superhero kittens — Ginny, Sparks, Buddy and Bitsy — who showcase their superhero skills and kitty kindness that they use to work together as a team to make their town of Kittydale a great place to live.

‘SuperKitties: Su-Purr Adventures’ is produced by Sony Pictures Television – Kids in association with Disney Jr.   It has been created by Paula Rosenthal.  The executive producers include Sarah Mullervy, Kirk Van Wormer and Audu Paden.  Bryan Korn is working on the show as a supervising producer.

The shorts will premiere on Wednesday, 7th August 2024, on Disney Jr. and Disney Channel, and they will be available the next day on Thursday, 8th August 2024, on Disney+ and also on the Disney Jr. YouTube channel.

The previous two seasons of “SuperKitties” are also available to stream now on Disney+.
