Disney’s “SuperKitties” Renewed For A Third Season
Just ahead of the release of the second season of the hit animated series, “Superkitties”, Disney has announced that it has ordered a third season at the 2024 Television Critics Association Winter Press Tour in Pasadena, California.
Since the show’s launch last year, the series has become a fan favourite among preschoolers and their families. The series was the number one new preschool series of 2023 on the Disney Junior channel.
“SuperKitties” is an adorable and action-packed series about four fierce and furry superhero kittens — Ginny, Sparks, Buddy and Bitsy — who are on a mission to make their town of Kittydale a more caring and “pawesome” place.
Geared to kids ages 2-7 and their families, each episode features two 11-minute stories that highlight the SuperKitties as they receive a “SuperKitty Call” from one of their animal friends with a problem that only the SuperKitties can help with (usually caused by one of the comedic villains in the series ― Cat Burglar, Mr. Puppypaws, Lab Rat or Zsa-Zsa). With plenty of super skills and gadgets at their disposal, the SuperKitties set off to thwart the villains’ plans and impart important messages of kindness, empathy, friendship, resilience and problem-solving along the way.
Ayo Davis, president, Disney Branded Television said in a statement:

Both series exude teamwork, optimism, friendship and resilience, and feature some pretty catchy music — just some of the signature qualities that make our Disney Junior programming a hit with kids and families alike.”
The first season of “SuperKitties” is available to stream now on Disney+.
