At last year’s Star Wars Celebration event in London, Disney announced that the next Star Wars Celebration event would take place on April 18th-20th, 2025, in Makuhari Messe in Japan.

Since then, we’ve not heard much about the next major Star Wars event, but Disney has announced that the tickets for the event will be going on sale on Thursday, 2nd May at 7:00 PM EDT (US Time) / Friday, 3rd May 2024 at 8:00 AM JST (Japan Time).

Tickets are priced at:

  • 3 Day Adult – $168.85
  • 3 Day Child -$42.35
  • VIP – $993.25
  • Single Day Adult – $58.85
  • Single Day Children -$20.35

If you were fortunate to have been a VIP ticket holder at Star Wars Celebration 2023, you will be able to take part in an exclusive presale for Star Wars Celebration 2025 tickets on May 1st 2024, at 12:00 PM EST (US). Past VIPs will receive a link via email approximately 24 hours before the presale and will be able to buy tickets for a limited time before they go on sale to the public.

At previous Star Wars Celebration events, guests have been able to get a first look at upcoming Star Wars films and Disney+ shows, plus there have been announcements about upcoming projects.    There is no Star Wars Celebration taking place in 2024. However, Star Wars will be represented at the upcoming D23: Ultimate Fan Event taking place near Disneyland in August, which will be where we get an update on upcoming Star Wars projects.

Hopefully, Disney also livestreams some of the panels from Japan to everyone globally, so we can also join in on the action and get to see all the announcements.  Though with Disney slowing down its release schedule and refocusing on theatrical releases, I wouldn’t be surprised if the reveals are a little less than previous years.
