Disney has announced a brand new Japanese anime series called “Sentai Daishikkaku”, aka “Go! Go! Loser Ranger”, which is about a foot soldier who sets out to infiltrate and take down a group of warriors known as the Dragon Keepers. He encounters obstacles and challenges along the way as he attempts to complete his mission against the group.

This upcoming series has been directed by Kei’ichi Sato, who has previously worked on “Tiger & Bunny”, “Asura” and “Gantz: O”.  The show is an adaption of the sci-fi manga by Negi Haruba, which originally debuted in Kodansha in Weekly Shonen Magazine. Negi is also writing the series with Keiichirô Ôchi.

The cast for the series includes Shiori Mikami (Shingeki no Kyojin), Ryouta Oosaka (Tokyo Revengers), Masanori Shimizu (Boushoku no Berserk), Yukihiro Nozuyama (Bucchigiri?!) and Hina Youmiya (Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu).

The new series will premiere in Japan on the TBS linear channel on April 7th 2024, at 4:30 p.m. (3:30 a.m. EDT), and as with many other anime series, it will also be released around the world on Disney+ and likely on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States.

This will be the latest anime series to be released on Disney+ globally, following the success of “Tokyo Revengers”, “Ishura”, and “Undead Unluck”.
