20th Television is developing a brand new series called “All’s Fair.” Ryan Murphy is creating the series, who is behind many of 20th’s biggest hits, including “American Crime Story,” “Feud,” and “American Horror Story.”

Ryan Murphy has described this new series as “a high-end, glossy and sexy adult procedural.” It will star Kim Kardashian, who will play Los Angeles’ most successful divorce lawyer and the owner of an all-female law firm in the legal drama. Kim also has some legal experience that will no doubt help with her role, as she is currently in the middle of a four-year law apprenticeship with a law firm in San Francisco.

The new series will also star Glenn Close, who is also an executive producer.  Halle Berry had been linked to the series, but recently dropped out of the project.

Variety has reported that Sarah Paulson, Niecy Nash, Teyana Taylor and Naomi Watts have joined the cast.  It’s known what characters these actors will be playing, and none of these actors have been brought in to replace Halle Berry’s character.

Sarah Paulson has worked with Ryan Murphy on many previous projects, including “American Crime Story”, “American Horror Story” and “Rachet”.  Niecy Nash has also previously worked with Ryan on “Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story“, plus most recently on the ABC series “The Rookie: Fed”.

Teyana Taylor has recently starred in the Hulu/Star Original film, “White Men Can’t Jump”, and Naomi Watts has previously worked with Ryan Murphy in the FX series, “Feud: Capote vs. The Swans

“All’s Fair” has been written by Jon Robin Baitz, who has previously worked with Ryan on “Feud: Capote Vs. The Swans” and Joe Baken, who has also worked with Ryan on “American Horror Stories”. They will also be executive producers on the project, along with Jamie Pachino, Laura Greene, and Richard Levine.  Kris Jenner, Alexis Martin Woodall, Eric Kovtun and Scott Robertson will also be executive producers.  Ryan Murphy is also set to direct the show.

This series is being developed for Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States, and I expect to see it released as a Star Original on Disney+ around the world.

Roger’s Take: The cast on this series is certainly filling out, and it does seem if Ryan Murphy likes working with an actor, they could be set for life with more appearances in future projects.
