Halle Berry Drops Out Of Hulu’s “All’s Fair”
Last week it was revealed that Halle Berry and Glenn Close had joined the cast of a brand new drama series called “All’s Fair”, which is being developed by 20th Television.
This new series is being created by Ryan Murphy, who is behind many of 20th’s biggest hits including “American Crime Story”, “Feud” and “American Horror Story”.
This new series, which Ryan Murphy has described the new series as “a high-end, glossy and sexy adult procedural”, will star Kim Kardashian, who will play Los Angeles’ most successful divorce lawyer and the owner of an all-female law firm in the legal drama. Kim also does have some legal experience that will no doubt help with her role, as she is currently in the middle of a four-year law apprenticeship with a law firm in San Francisco.
However, Deadline has now reported that Halle Berry has left the project, where she was also going to be an executive producer. No details have been announced as to why she has left the project.
“All’s Fair” has been written by Jon Robin Baitz, who has previously worked with Ryan on “Feud: Capote Vs. The Swans” and Joe Baken, who has also worked with Ryan on “American Horror Stories”. They will also be executive producers on the project, along with Jamie Pachino, Laura Greene, and Richard Levine. Kris Jenner, Alexis Martin Woodall, Eric Kovtun and Scott Robertson will also be executive producers. Ryan Murphy is also set to direct the show.
This series is being developed for Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States, and I expect to see it released as a Star Original on Disney+ around the world.
Roger’s Take: There could be many reasons why Halle has dropped out of the project, such as scheduling issues, creative differences, money or perhaps a negative reaction to the news, as Kim Kardashian isn’t always the most popular person on the internet.
