One of the upcoming Disney+ Star Wars series announced at the last Disney Investor Day is “Ahsoka”, which will see Rosario Dawson return to the role she played in “The Mandalorian” and continue the story of her trying to track down Grand Admiral Thrawn after she calls him out by name during her appearance in “The Mandalorian”.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Lucasfilm is now looking for an actor to star as Sabine Wren, who was introduced in the “Star Wars: Rebels” animated series, which is available on Disney+.

Sabine Wren was a Mandalorian warrior, explosives expert, and graffiti artist — qualities that came in handy as one of the first rebels against the Empire. Part of the Ghost crew, Sabine used her gift for bomb-making to great effect against the Empire, and would often mark her work with spray-paint tags. Her classic Mandalorian armour was notable for incorporating her own custom stylings, reflecting her creative-meets-rebellious spirit.

Nothing has officially been announced regarding Sabine Wren appearing in the series, but it would tie in with many characters from the animated series jumping into the live-action Disney+ shows.
