Disney has announced that the first two seasons of the British children’s animated series, “Peppa Pig”, will be coming to Disney+ in the United Kingdom and Ireland.  Originally the series was scheduled to arrive on Disney+ on Wednesday, 18th January 2023, but unfortunately, the series release has now been delayed.

Peppa is a loveable, cheeky little piggy who lives with her little brother George, Mummy Pig and Daddy Pig. Peppa’s favourite things include playing games, dressing up, days out and jumping in muddy puddles. Her adventures always end happily with loud snorts of laughter.

“Peppa Pig” is the creation of animators Mark Baker and Neville Astley and was produced by Phil Davies. The first series debuted to UK audiences on May 31st 2004. “Peppa Pig” is broadcast in over 180 territories and translated into 40 different languages.

The series is so popular, it’s got a wide range of merchandise available, including video games plus its own theme park!

The addition of this series is part of a larger deal to bring more content made in the UK to Disney+ to help with its European quota plus offer some great content for younger viewers.
