Ahead of the premiere of the new comedy series, “Not Dead Yet”, Disney hosted a special event at Harriet’s Rooftop in Los Angeles, where guests were treated to a sneak peek of the first episode, followed by an intimate conversation with cast members and executive producers, moderated by PopSugar’s Jada Gomez. There was also a reception featuring themed activations to commemorate the event.

Attending the event was the cast of “Not Dead Yet,” including executive producer and star Gina Rodriguez, Hannah Simone, Lauren Ash, Rick Glassman, Angela Gibbs and Josh Banday, as well as showrunners and executive producers David Windsor and Casey Johnson, and executive producer Dean Holland.

From creators David Windsor and Casey Johnson (“This Is Us,” “The Real O’Neals”) and starring Gina Rodriguez, “Not Dead Yet” follows Nell Serrano (Rodriguez), a broke and newly single self-described disaster, working to restart the life and career she left behind five years ago. When she lands the only job she can find – writing obituaries – Nell starts getting life advice from an unlikely source. The series is adapted from the book “Confessions of a 40-Something F**k Up” by Alexandra Potter.

“Not Dead Yet” stars Gina Rodriguez as Nell Serrano, Hannah Simone as Sam, Lauren Ash as Lexi, Rick Glassman as Edward, Joshua Banday as Dennis and Angela Gibbs as Cricket.

Casey Johnson and David Windsor are the creators and executive producers. Also executive producing is Gina Rodriguez, Dean Holland and Wonderland Sound and Vision’s McG, Mary Viola and Corey Marsh. The series is produced by 20th Television.

The series will debut on ABC on Wednesday 8th February 2023 at 8:30pm ET, with new episodes being available the next day on Hulu. The show will also be released on Disney+ in Australia and New Zealand on Thursday 9th February. Expect to see the series released on Disney+ in other countries at a later date.
