20th Television Developing “The Pinnacle” For Hulu/Disney+

20th Television is developing a brand new drama series for Hulu/Disney+ called “The Pinnacle”, which is set in the world of high-end New York real estate.

“The Pinnacle” tells the story of ambitious and street-smart Charlie Mahoney, who is catapulted to the heart of the billionaire Van Buren family and their dazzling penthouse on New York’s Billionaire’s Row after becoming the sobriety companion to their troubled son, Theo. As he gains their trust and acclimates to their sumptuous lifestyle, Charlie must navigate scheming staff, suspicious friends and romantic entanglements while hiding a secret of his own and securing his permanent place in New York’s ultra-wealthy circles.

According to Deadline, the new show is being written and executive produced by Damon Cardasis and Jamieson Baker, with George Stephanopoulos and Ali Wentworth, also executive producing via Bedby8, with Tracy Underwood via her Hustle & Punch banner.

Damon has previously worked on the Martin Scorsese documentary, “Mr Scorsese”, along with “Arthur Miller: Writer”. While Jamieson has worked on “Almost A Year” along with “Betty” and “Mainstream”.

No other details on the upcoming series have been revealed, such as who might star in it, or when it might begin production or when it will be released on Hulu/Disney+.

As with all projects in early development, this might not necessarily come to anything, as pilots especially don’t always go ahead to full series, plus we could also see changes to the creative team.
