New Korean Drama Series “Nine Puzzles” Announced For Disney+
Disney has announced details on a new Korean Original series, “Nine Puzzles”, which is a dark criminal thriller that will be coming out in 2025 on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States and internationally on Disney+.
The new series tells the story of what happens when a serial killer begins playing games with police, two intrepid investigators, who will have to put aside their differences and work together.
After a childhood marked by tragedy, Yoon Ena grows up to become a criminal profiler and is thrown headfirst into a dangerous new case. With the killer seemingly playing games with her, Ena is forced to team up with her biggest critic – fellow investigator Kim Hanseam in the hope of solving the case before the killer takes another victim.
“Nine Puzzles” is going to star Kim Dami, who has previously appeared in “Itaewon Class” and “Our Beloved Summer”. Kim will be playing the role of Yoon Ena. It’s also been revealed that Kim Sungkyun will be playing the role of Yang Jungho. Kim has previously starred in the hit series, “Moving”, along as “12.12: The Day”.
The series has been written by Lee Eunmi, who has previously worked on “Navillera” and “About Tunnel”. It will be directed by Yoon Jongbin, who has previously worked on “Narco-Saints”, and “The Spy Gone North”.
This is the latest Korean drama series to be created for Disney+, following the success of original shows like “Moving”, “Big Bet”, “Snowdrop” and “Soundtrack #1”.
