Disney has announced details of a new Korean drama series called, “Low Life”, which is an exciting new story of smugglers under the sea. The show has been inspired by a webtoon and real-life events involving a treasure ship discovered off the coast of Sinan in the 1970s. The story centres on a villain who attempts to do good with looted treasure from a ship.

The upcoming Korean original series is going to star Yang Se Jong, Ryu Seung Ryong, and Im Soo Jung.

Yang Se Jong has previously starred in “Dr Romantic” and “Doona!”. Ryu Seung Ryong has previously starred in the Disney+ Original series, “Moving” and the recent Netflix series, “Chicken Nugget. Im Soo Jung has previously starred in “Single In Seoul” and “Melancholia”.

It’s going to be directed by Kang Yoonsung, who is the director of the Disney+ Original series “Big Bet”, and has been written by Yoon Taeho, who has previously worked on “Misaeng”.

“Low Life” is set to be released on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States and on Disney+ around the world in 2025.
