Disney has released a new trailer for the next installment in the classic 20th Century Studios franchise, “Planet Of The Apes”, which is called “Kingdom Of The Planet Of The Apes”, which is set several generations in the future following Caesar’s reign. Apes are the dominant species living harmoniously with one another and humans have been reduced to living in the shadows. As a new tyrannical ape leader builds his empire, one young ape will undertake a harrowing journey that will cause him to question all that he has known about the past and to make choices that will define a future for apes and humans alike.

The new film stars Freya Allan, William H. Macy, Dichen Lachman, Kevin Durand, Owen Teague, Peter Macon, and Travis Jeffery.

“Kingdom Of The Planet Of The Apes” is going to be released in cinemas around the world on May 10th, but Disney has announced that it will be releasing the film a couple of days earlier on May 8th in IMAX and Dolby Vision theaters. Tickets are now onsale at retailers including Fandango.

As with other theatrical releases, expect the film to take over three months before it is available to stream on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the US and on Disney+ internationally. Many of the previous films in the “Planet Of The Apes” franchise are available to stream now on Disney+ in many countries around the world.
