“Mask vs. Knight” aka “Máscara Contra Caballero” Teaser Trailer Released
Disney has released a new teaser trailer for the upcoming Latin American Star Original “Máscara Contra Caballero” aka “Mask vs. Knight”.
This the new comedy series from Star Original Productions follows a successful popular music singer who leads a double life as a masked wrestler, and in whose path he crosses an entertainment reporter who is on a mission to find the biggest gossip involving him, in order to destroy him. Made by BTF Media, the new production features a renowned cast led by Luis Ernesto Franco (Alex Gorostiza), Paola Fernández (Brenda Paravia), Pamela Almanza (Carol Schneider), Nicolasa Ortíz Monasterio (Rosa La Espinosa), Enoc Leaño (Willy) and Úrsula Pruneda (Queta González).

It’s been filmed in different locations in Mexico, the new series immerses the audience in the world of wrestling, combining elements of romance and hilarious tangle situations. With a vintage aesthetic and kitsch elements typical of comics, the production appeals to a multi-generational audience with a love for Mexican popular culture.
The cast of the series is completed by Mauricio Garza (Jaime), Fernando Memije (Isaías Robles), Alfonso Borbolla (La Helenoida), Carmen Muga (Lolititita), Mauricio Barrientos (Vicente), Moisés Arizmendi (Darío), Eduardo Arroyuelo (Ábrego), and Marco Treviño (TV Executive).
Composed of eight 30-minute episodes, “Máscara contra caballero” is directed by Alfonso Pineda and is based on an idea by Héctor Valdés, who also worked on the script with Mauricio Somuano and Alejandra Urdiaín.
“Mask vs. Knight” is coming to Star+ in Latin America and on Disney+ internationally, including in Canada and Australia on 19th April 2023.
