Disney has announced details on the home video release of Marvel Studios’ latest movie, “Captain America: Brave New World”, which follows Sam Wilson as he finds himself in the middle of an international incident after meeting with newly elected U.S. President Thaddeus Ross. He must discover the reason behind a nefarious global plot before the true mastermind has the entire world seeing red.

“Captain America: Brave New World” was released in cinemas on Valentine’s Day, and it will be released to buy and rent on digital platforms, including Apple TV, Fandango at Home, and Amazon, on April 15th 2025.  It will also be released on 4K Blu-ray/DVD a month later on May 13th 2025.

As with previous home video releases from Walt Disney Studios, this gives us an indication of when “Captain America: Brave New World” will be released on Disney+, likely lining up with the physical release in May, which is around 90 days after the theatrical release.

Marvel Studios’ “Captain America: Brave New World” stars Anthony Mackie, Danny Ramirez, Shira Haas, Carl Lumbly, Xosha Roquemore, with Giancarlo Esposito, Liv Tyler, Tim Blake Nelson, and Harrison Ford. 

The film is directed by Julius Onah and produced by Kevin Feige and Nate Moore. Louis D’Esposito and Charles Newirth serve as executive producers. The screenplay is by Rob Edwards and Malcolm Spellman & Dalan Musson and Julius Onah & Peter Glanz with story by Rob Edwards and Malcolm Spellman & Dalan Musson.
