First Look At British Disney+ Original “Suspect: The Shooting Of Jean Charles De Menezes”
Disney has announced that the British Original series, “Suspect: The Shooting of Jean Charles De Menezes”, will be coming to Disney+ in many countries including the United Kingdom and Ireland on Wednesday, 30th April 2025.
In the story of one of the most catastrophic errors in the history of British policing, London reels from the devastating suicide bombings of 7 July 2005 as the Met Police launches a large-scale counterterrorism operation, resolving to use lethal force if necessary. Unbeknownst to them, another terrorist cell plots an assault that could equal the carnage of 7/7. During the counterterrorism operation, police conduct a major surveillance operation at a London address, but an extraordinary series of events leads to the misidentification of an innocent young Brazilian man as a suspect, resulting in his fatal shooting. As his mourning family battle remarkable misinformation and fight for answers, the Met is engulfed by crisis and officers are forced to confront hard-truths about the tragedy.
