“Dragon Ball Super: Beerus” Coming Soon To Disney+ (UK)

Disney has announced that “Dragon Ball Super: Beerus”, which is an enhanced edition of the hit anime “Dragon Ball Super” will be coming soon to Disney+ in the UK later this month.

One of the most iconic and influential manga franchises of all time, “Dragon Ball” continues to captivate audiences around the world through TV animation, movies, games, and merchandising. Now, “Dragon Ball Super” returns in a newly enhanced format that introduces a significant number of newly added and redrawn cuts, a reconstructed narrative and cutting-edge visual enhancements designed to bring fans closer to the action than ever before.

Featuring more immersive battle sequences and an even more faithful representation of the original manga, “Dragon Ball Super: Beerus” offers both long-time fans and new audiences a fresh way to experience one of anime’s most celebrated stories.

Set several years after the fierce battle against Majin Buu, the series finds Earth enjoying a rare period of peace. At the same time, Beerus, the God of Destruction, awakens from a long slumber. Upon hearing rumours of a Saiyan warrior who defeated Frieza, Beerus sets his sights on Goku. As the strongest being in the universe arrives on Earth, Goku and his allies are drawn into a cosmic battle that will shake the entire universe.

The new series will arrive on Disney+ in the UK on 14th October 2026.
