“The Year: 2026” Coming Soon To ABC, Hulu & Disney+

With the holiday season almost here, Disney has announced it will bring back its popular annual special, “The Year”, to highlight what happened this year.

This year’s edition will relive the year’s most unforgettable moments all in one unmissable night. “Good Morning America” co-anchor Robin Roberts and ABC News’ popular, year-end franchise “The Year” return in December for the 16th consecutive year.

The two-hour annual primetime special “The Year: 2026” features ABC News’ award-winning anchors, correspondents, hosts and more and is network television’s most comprehensive and star-studded look back, with the headlines that shaped the world and celebrity and pop-culture moments that had everyone talking — all leaving an indelible mark on 2026.

Expect more details on this special to be revealed nearer the time, as we’ve still got a couple more months for events to happen, that could be added to this annual special.

“The Year: 2026” will premiere from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. on the ABC channel, and it’ll be available the next day on Hulu and Disney+.
