“Dancing With The Stars” Super Bowl Night Details Revealed
Disney has announced details on the next episode of the hit competition series, “Dancing With The Stars”, which will be themed around the Super Bowl.
“Dancing with the Stars” is the hit series co-hosted by Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough in which celebrities are paired with trained ballroom dancers to compete in themed choreographed dance routines that are judged by a panel of renowned ballroom experts, including Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough.
In the new episode, it’s game time in the ballroom! The remaining 11 couples will take the dance floor, performing to songs made famous by some of the most iconic Super Bowl performances throughout the years. Bringing his football expertise to the ballroom, “Monday Night Football” broadcaster Joe Buck, who will call his seventh Super Bowl on ABC and ESPN in February, joins as a guest judge.
The night will also feature appearances by NFL legends and “Dancing with the Stars” alums Donald Driver, Emmitt Smith, DeMarcus Ware and Danny Amendola. The opening number will be set to “NUEVAYoL” by Bad Bunny, “Rude Boy” by Rihanna and “HUMBLE.” by Kendrick Lamar and additional pro and troupe performances to “It’s Heavy Action (Monday Night Football Theme)” by APM and “In The Air Tonight” by Chris Stapleton, along with “Bootylicious” by Destiny’s Child.
The couples (along with their dance styles and songs) are the following:
- Jackson Olson and partner Emma Slater will perform a Salsa to “Uptown Funk” by Mark Ronson featuring Bruno Mars
- Guillermo Rodriguez and partner Witney Carson will perform a Salsa to “Tití Me Preguntó” by Bad Bunny
- Harry Shum Jr. and partner Jenna Johnson will perform a Samba to “Yeah!” by USHER featuring Lil Jon and Ludacris
- Ezra Frech and partner Daniella Karagach will perform a Salsa to “Hot in Herre” by Nelly
- Tyler Cameron and partner Sharna Burgess will perform a Jazz to “The Time (Dirty Bit)” by Black Eyed Peas
- Connor Wood and partner Rylee Arnold will perform a Samba to “Hips Don’t Lie” by Shakira featuring Wyclef Jean
- Maura Higgins and partner Mark Ballas will perform a Tango to “Only Girl (In the World)” by Rihanna
- Julia Stiles and partner Ezra Sosa will perform a Jazz to “Jenny from the Block [Track Masters Remix]” by Jennifer Lopez featuring Jadakiss and Styles P
- Jenna Dewan and partner Val Chmerkovskiy will perform a Paso Doble to “Bad Romance” by Lady Gaga
- Tatyana Ali and partner Jan Ravnik will perform a Salsa to “squabble up” by Kendrick Lamar
- Amber Glenn and partner Pasha Pashkov will perform a Samba to “Mi Gente” by J Balvin and Willy William
This continues the synergy integration plans within Disney surrounding this year’s Super Bowl, which will air on ABC , Disney+ and ESPN Sunday, 14th February 2027.
Fans will be able to vote during the live simulcast of the show in the ET/CT time zones. During this time, online voting will be available to fans in any time zone in the U.S., its territories and Canada via dwtsvote.abc.com, and fans on participating U.S. wireless carriers can also vote via SMS/text (fans in Canada cannot vote via SMS/text). Live viewer votes from the night will be combined with the judges’ scores to determine who may be in jeopardy of elimination.
After each episode, go behind the curtain with the “Dancing with the Stars Official Podcast,” with host Season 34 contestant Andy Richter sharing cast interviews, special guest appearances, behind-the-scenes insights and expert breakdowns of the night’s performances. New episodes air every Thursday on Disney+ and Hulu, and wherever you get your podcasts.
The “Super Bowl Night” episode will air on Tuesday 13th October 2026, from 8:00-10:00 p.m. EDT/PDT and 7:00-9:00 p.m. CDT, and will simulcast LIVE across both ABC and Disney+ in local time zones and the next day on Hulu. Recent episodes are also available to stream on Disney+ and Hulu in the US and Canada.
